Overview: Waratah Room
Wyndarra’s Waratah Room caters for up to 26 children in their final year before school.
This is our 4-year-old government approved program. Your child needs to meet a few criteria’s prior to receiving a place within this group. This program supports children in developing school readiness skills required to jump into their prep year at school.
The learning spaces provided will allow for open learning experiences supporting their play and interests as educators challenge their skills and thinking.
The Waratah group will have excursions throughout the year and with parent’s support will have walks to the local library, in addition to these special outings the children will have several incursions throughout the year as well.
The play yard has a large bark area, with challenging climbing equipment and medium size trampoline, a large sandpit, decorative decked area for table activities, great size cubby house.
Our gardens are well developed providing beautiful shady play spaces and a natural learning environment for the children to discover and explore.
The children manage a worm farm and the fertiliser is used on their veggie garden. Herb and veggies from their garden is scaffolded through their learning and used in cooking experiences.
