Overview: Wattle Room
Wyndarra’s Wattle Room caters for up to 16 children between two (2) up to three (3) years of age. (All programs are based on individual groups of children not ages.)
The play room is large which allows for the area to be divided into play spaces which support learning in small to medium groups. Resources and play areas are modified to reflect the current interests of the children and learning intentions for the class. Educators are there to guide and interact with children in meaningful ways that empower children’s choices and decision making while supporting children in all the developmental areas.
The Wattle children have easy access to toilets and hand basins with appropriate viewing so staff are able to supervise and assist when need be.
The Wattle children have a large play yard which they share with the Bluebell children (all children under the age of three). The yard has large area for table activities, a bark area for the climbing equipment, a concrete area for the bikes and scooters and a large sandpit.
Our gardens are well developed providing beautiful shady play spaces and a natural learning environment for the children to discover and explore.
Room Ratio one (1) staff per four (4) children.
